It feels as if you've got a fisheye and taken this capture, mostly because of the perspective and the way you've managed to capture both sides and paths fully, if you get what I mean.
I really like how the monotone adds more of an effect overall. It works well with the lighting to accentuate the various shades and it also influences the atmosphere and mood so that they're both pretty expressive.
I feel as if the people add further depth to things and I really like the wideness, especially as you've managed to capture the grandness of it all without chopping anything off.
Really well executed... I don't have any suggestions, as such. Maybe you could darken the sky a bit, but I think it's pretty fine as it is.
It would be interesting if you had selectively coloured this, or made it into colour, actually.
